Verse 1 Hey Mister – I’m just about to break It’s much too early for all your words of hate If your salvation is condemnation I don’t subscribe today You can take all this, and your mailing list And walk the other way Chorus And sign me up…for love… Sign me up…for love… If love is what you got… Then sign me up… Verse 2 Hey Mister – won’t you bring me some good news today? Divide and conquer just cannot be the way You’re asking for donations On your road to revelation But your gospel only speaks of angry pain… Chorus So sign me up…for love… Sign me up…for love… If love is what you got… Then sign me up… Bridge I need an alleluia…. I need an alleluia Chorus So sign me up…for love… Sign me up…for love… If love is what you got… Then sign me up… Sign me up… Sign me up…for love

What did you say? Were you thinking all you thought you knew had been swept away And ghosts were hiding in the closet Perhaps you'd see the things I see if you were listening to me So let's be careful now - or things may never be the same You were shown the scars, but haven't had the time to let things fade away Or the eyes to see things clearly So fragile we - can hurt so deep, but can we find compassion Please don't set this house ablaze - the fire would reach the sky Leaving glowing embers of our precious lives Well I...I've seen so many lost at sea so I guard this with my life Well I...I believe there's no place like home No there's no place like home Surely I can't be defined by mistakes I've made That hurt the ones that I love dearly So casually abandon me without an understanding Just a word before you go We can only wonder why we would ever have to face this last goodbye Well I...I've seen so many lost at sea so I guard this with my life Well I...I won't accept these choices here, don't even ask me why Well I...I believe there's no place like home

Verse It’s been a real tough year for you baby / And I know that life is treatin’ you bad Nothing’s going well for you baby / You’re losing everything that you had Now I know your life has got you bumming / Everything is upside down You will see good and bright days are coming / Nothing’s gonna slow you down, down Chorus It’s a sunny day now darlin’ Better times are comin’ around Don’t you know it’s a new day honey Don’t you let life bring you down, down, down Verse So you see that I know how you feel / It’s never good to be in your shoes But you got to hang tough there baby / Smile instead of singing the blues, blues Chorus ‘Cause it’s a sunny day now darlin’ Better times are comin’ around Don’t you see that the clouds have scattered Life ain’t gonna bring you down, down, down Solo Chorus It’s a sunny day now darlin’ Better times are comin’ ‘round Don’t you know it’s a new day honey Don’t you let life bring you down Cause it’s a sunny day now darlin’ Pick yourself up off of the ground ‘Cause you know that the good times are comin’ Nothing’s gonna keep you down, down, down

Is there enough sky? Is there enough blue? For all the dreams that I have sent up to? Where the clouds are dancing out the Shapes of life As I watch and wonder Who I might Have been? If only I If only I If only I Just didn't fear Is there enough ocean? Is there enough sea? To hold untapped emotion From inside of me? Do I dare journey To my deepest heart? Do I dare wonder Who I might Have been? If only I If only I If only I Just didn't fear If only I . . . I could soar higher If only I . . . were truly free If only I . . . If only I Just didn't fear Is there enough heat? Is there enough fire? So I can go free with my desire? Or must I struggle with fire inside? As I wonder How you & I might Have been If only I . . . I could soar higher If only I . . . Were truly free If only I . . . If only I Just didn't fear . . . Just didn't fear If only I . . . I could run deeper If only I . . . Open my heart If only I . . . If only I Just didn't fear Are there enough hills? Are there enough fields? Is there enough Earth to still the The longings we feel? The echoes of dreams A distant call Oh, don't you wonder, At what we all Might have been? If only I . . . We could soar higher If only I . . . Were truly free If only I . . . If only we Just didn't fear . . . Just didn't fear If only I . . . We could run deeper If only I . . . Open our hearts If only I . . . If only I Just didn't fear Just didn't fear

Pulled pork and coleslaw Peach cobbler and a southern twang In Dallas, Texas That’s where I met the McCray’s I saw the hurricane Katrina on TV I had to do something ‘cause what if it were me? I went down to the Red Cross to work with refugees That’s where I met all the McCray’s I was a single woman, four kids of my own Had a house with four bedrooms and a living room I figured we could fit twenty And that’s just what we did We welcomed in all twenty McCray’s And we had… Pulled pork and coleslaw Peach cobbler and a southern twang In Dallas, Texas It’s dinner with the McCray’s They stayed together through a hurricane You know nothing could cause them to separate The littlest McCray was just three weeks old The family had no luggage and they lost all their clothes The neighbors brought gifts and some necessities They never ever tried to complain In February, 2006 The McCray’s moved back to their home that they would fix And we never will forget The fun we had that week We never will forget the McCray’s When we had… Pulled pork and coleslaw Peach cobbler and a southern twang In Dallas, Texas It’s dinner with the McCray’s We had… Pulled pork and coleslaw Peach cobbler and a southern twang In Dallas, Texas It’s dinner with the McCray’s We had dinner with the McCray’s We love dinner with the McCray’s

I can't believe the day you walked out just went away I can't believe a time when you'd no longer be mine so I can on loving you the way that I always do just let me know where you are cause I've got a message for you just let me know where you are I've got a message for you just let me know where you are I've got a message for you each day has a darker sky every night I just wonder why a love such as this could go cold another lonely night at home repeat chorus everywhere I look for you the light is in my eye's shining in my soul and you will never know and if you ever call my name I will be there for you, for you, just the same repeat chorus

about

This is the first of two compilations of songs donated by various artists from around the world for the benefit of those who were impacted by Hurricane Sandy.

100% of all monies collected will be funneled to All Hands Volunteers (hands.org), which kept costs down to the point that 82% of all funds collected went directly to their efforts. More importantly, they allow us to specify that the monies we are able to give to them should go to Sandy victims rather than into a pool of funds from which they draw for their portfolio of relief projects.

Spread the word! The more people that hear about this, the more of an impact we all can have for those who have lost and suffered so much! If you'd like to stay up to date with the latest news on Volume 2, funds raised, etc. be sure to find and Like us on Facebook:
